2019-05-13: Credit Rating

MTB: Credit Rating Information and Services Ltd. (CRISL) has informed that the Rating Committee of CRISL has assigned the rating of Mutual Trust Bank Limited as “AA” in the long term and “ST-2” in the short term along with a stable outlook in consideration of its audited financials up to December 31, 2018 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

BDFINANCE: (Quarter 1) As per un-audited financial statements of Bangladesh Finance and Investment Company Ltd., Consolidated EPS was Tk. 0.06 for January-March, 2019 as against Tk. 0.01 for January-March, 2018. Consolidated NOCFPS was Tk. (1.22) for January-March, 2019 as against Tk. (0.76) for January-March, 2018. Consolidated NAV per share was Tk. 16.83 as on March 31, 2019 and Tk. 16.77 as on December 31, 2018.

2019-05-13: Operation Resumption of Plant # 1 & Temporary shutdown of Plant # 3

RAKCERAMIC: Referring to their earlier news disseminated by CSE on 11.12.2018, 27.01.2019 and 19.03.2019 with regard to non-operating status of tiles plant # 1 due to maintenance, R.A.K. Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited has further informed that the operation of the said Plant # 1 has been resumed from May 12, 2019. Moreover, due to maintenance work of the machineries of tiles production, Plant # 3 (one tiles plant out of four tiles Plant) will be temporarily shutdown. The Company will announce the resumption of operation of Plant # 3 as soon as it is ready after completion of the said maintenance work. All other Plants of tiles and sanitaryware of the Company will continue as usual.

CITYBANK: Please note that the price of the shares of CITYBANK is adjusted today following its ex-benefits date to the extent of its corporate benefits; hence the price limit on the scrip will remain as it is today. Therefore, adjusted price of CITYBANK =Tk. 24.30.

EXIMBANK: (Quarter 1) As per the un-audited financial statements of Exim Bank Limited, Consolidated EPS was Tk. 0.25 for January-March 2019 as against Tk. (0.34) for January-March 2018. Consolidated NOCFPS was Tk. (4.00) for January-March 2019 as against Tk. (7.91) for January-March 2018. Consolidated NAV per share was Tk. 20.23 as on March 31, 2019 and Tk. 19.24 as on March 31, 2018.
