Mr. Nasir A. Choudhury
By virtue of an experience ofmore than half a century in theinsurance sector, Mr. Nasir A. Choudhury has pioneeredthe insurance industry ofBangladesh. He is vastly experienced in thefield of insurance and is widelyrespected in the insurance industryand business circles, both locallyand globally.Mr. Choudhury joined thePakistan Insurance Corporation inSeptember, 1958, and held varioussenior positions till the liberation ofBangladesh. In 1972, immediatelyafter the year Bangladesh wasliberated, he took the responsibilityof rebuilding the reinsurancedepartment of the SadharanBimaCorporation as a General Manager.Having achieved his objectives,he left in 1983. He was also anInsurance Adviser of BangladeshBiman and Bangladesh ShippingCorporation for over 15 years.A former Chairman of theBangladesh Insurance Association(2001-2004), Mr. Choudhuryestablished Green Delta InsuranceCompany Limited with somefriends in 1985 as a sponsor andfounder Managing Director andCEO. Till date, he is discharginghis responsibility as an Advisor.Throughout his glorious career,Mr. Choudhury has been awardedby many renowned national andinternational organizations for hisunparalleled contributions to theinsurance industry of Bangladesh

Mr. Abdul Hafiz Choudhury
Accountancy in 1961 and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1966. He became a member of the CA Institute in erstwhile Pakistan in 1967. Hafiz Choudhury is a founder trustee of Independent University, Bangladesh (lUB) and served as its Honorary Treasurer for more than 8 years. He is a member of the Governing Council and Chairman of the Finance Committee of IUB and was elected Chairman of the Founding Trust of IUB. He was also Chairman of Business Advisory Services Centre, a USAID-funded organisation set-up to support development of private business enterprises. He was a Director in the Board of Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited for over nine years and Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Co. Ltd. for over six years. He served as Director in the Board of JibanBima Corporation and Rupali Bank Ltd. for number of years and a Director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries. He had been serving as Honorary Treasurer of United Nations Association of Bangladesh since 1976 and currently holding the position of Vice President. A nominated Conciliator for Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (lCSID), an affiliate of World Bank based in Washington, USA, Hafiz Choudhury has held many important positions including Director in the Board of Bangladesh Bank for more than three and a half years, an Executive Committee member of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for number of years and served as Chairman of its various committees and was also elected Vice President for two terms. He was elected President of MCCI in 2009.  He is currently serving as an Independent Director and Chairman of Green Delta Insurance Co. Ltd. And also as an Independent Director in the Boards of ICB Islamic Bank Ltd. and Chairman of Risk Management Committee and Internal Control and Compliance Committee of the Bank. He is a Director in the Boards of Green Delta Securities Ltd., Green Delta Capital Ltd. and New Zealand Dairy Products Bangladesh Ltd. He is a widely travelled man and has travelled to many countries of Asia, Europe, Africa and USA, Canada and Maxico.

Mr. Abul Qasem Mohammad Nurul Absar
After graduating in Civil Engineering from BUET in the year 1964, he completed his post-graduation in Hydraulic Engineering from DELFT University in The Hague, Netherlands. He served the Water and Power Development Authority - WAPDA, in Bangladesh for 10 years. His professional experience included designing and constructing hydraulic structures like regulators, pump station and sluice gates. Mr Absar served in reservoir section under the Ministry of Electricity & Water, Kuwait, for 10years where he was involved in the construction of water reservoirs. Mr. Absar is also the Director of Delta Medical College & Hospital and Delta Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

Ms. Farzana Chowdhury
Ms. Farzana Chowdhury ACII (UK)is the first and youngest female Managing Director and CEO in the insurance sector of Bangladesh. She pioneered numerous successful integrated insurance models involving SME sector, specially designed for RMG workers, poor, migrant workers, women, weather index based insurance and other segments. She played a pivotal role in securing a partnership with the Government of Bangladesh to design and implement a social health protection scheme – SSK. She also header the Retail and SME banking of BRAC Bank – the first bank in Bangladesh to have launched the division. Ms. Chowdhury was selected by the US State Department, for the International Women Leaders Mentoring Partnership program sponsored by US State Department and Fortune 500 companies in 2006. She completed her MBA from the Monash University in Australia. She holds the prestigious Chartered Insurer status by the Charetered Insurance Institute (CII) in the UK. She is also the Senior Associate of the ANZIIF (Australian and New Zealand Institiute of Insurance and Finance)
Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Chaudhury

Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Chaudhuryis an Operations Management & Leadership Expert. He has been working in the Infrastructure Development  & Management business for over 20 years. He has been professionally involved in several noted International Multi Million Dollar Infrastructure development projects in Bangladesh. He is also a highly skilled contract negotiator with international concerns.He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Consulting (PgDMC) from the Institute of Management Consultants Bangladesh (Membership Code M056). He has also an EMBA from the American International University –Bangladesh in Operations Management. He has worked as the CEO of Islam Group running Eastern Housing Ltd the largest Real Estate & Land Development company in Bangladesh (a public Limited company), Navana Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Bengal Development Corporation Ltd respectively as Managing Director. He is currently Managing Director of Top Brands (Pvt) Ltd and does Corporate CSR by teaching, training and mentoring MBA candidates to be professional next generation managers of Bangladesh at his Alma Mater AIUB.

Ms. Naima Chowdhury,

Ms. Naima Chowdhury  is a qualified professional having experience of managing renowned business portfolio of East Coast Group related to real estate. She is also the director of East Cost Group, Bangladesh. She is involved in social and educational development activities that include establishment and management of a private high school which is providing access to education of under privileged section of people in the locality and offers free medical treatment through a Diabetic Centre at Kulaura.
